Paolo Lamanna nasce a Rho, in provincia di Milano il 9 maggio 1973.
Si diploma al Liceo Artistico e successivamente alla Scuola del Fumetto di Milano.
Per circa 4 anni lavora come illustratore e disegnatore per varie case editrici italiane realizzando e producendo anche personaggi da lui creati.
Dopo una breve collaborazione con la MArvel USA come disegnatore si dedica alla colorazione di prestigiosi volumi per l'editrice francese SOLEIL con la quale collabora da ormai 4 anni.
Per Soleil realizza la colorazione dei volumi MONSTER ALLERGY book 1 (con Barbucci e Canepa), ALIENOR book 1 e book 2 (con Donald Soffritti), DAFFODIL book 1, book 2 e book 3 ( con Giovanni Rigano) oltre a varie collaborazioni come su SKY DOLL (Barbucci e Canepa).
Parallelamente lavora come realizzatore di Storyboards e Visual per molte agenzie pubblicitarie in Italia.
Negli ultimi 2 anni ha stretto collaborazione con Walt Disney Italia per la quale realizza la colorazione di materiale per Witch ( illustrazioni, poster ecc..) tra cui lo Speciale Witch 2006 "CALEB e Elyon" (con Gianluca Panniello).
Oltre all'attività legata al fumetto ha costituito un piccolo studio di Animazione 3D (C4DTeam) insieme a dei colleghi che si occupa della realizzazione di motion graphic e animazione per sigle televisive e cortometraggi per importanti emittenti locali e via cavo.
Di recente ha ultimato, insieme al C4DTeam, la collaborazione con Dario Picciau per il progetto cinematografico "Dear Anne the gift of hope" in uscita nei cinema nel 2007in qualità di texture artist e il primo volume della serie ARTEMIS FOWL tratto dal best seller di Eoin Colfer per l'americana Hyperion books for childrens, sempre sui disegni di Rigano.

Paolo Lamanna is born to Rho, in province of Milan 9 May 1973.
Diplomate to the Artistic Grammar school and subsequently to the School of the Comic strip of Milano.For approximately 4 years he works like illustrator and designer for several Italian editors realizing and producing also to personages from he create.
After a short collaboration with the Marvel USA like penciler dedication to the coloration of prestigious volumes for the publishing French SOLEIL with which Soleil collaborates by now from 4 years.
For it realized the coloration of volumes MONSTER ALLERGY book 1 (with Barbucci and Canepa), ALIENOR book 1 and book 2 (with Donald Soffritti), DAFFODIL book 1, book 2 and book 3 (with Giovanni Rigano) beyond to several collaborations as on SKY DOLL (Barbucci and Canepa).
At the same time it works as producer of Storyboards and Visual for many last advertising agencies in Italy.
In the last 2 years has tightened collaboration with Walt Disney Italy for which he realizes the coloration of material for Witch (illustrations, poster etc.) between which the Special Witch 2006 "CALEB and Elyon" (with Gianluca Panniello).
Beyond to the activity tied to the comic strip have constituted a small study of Animation 3D (C4DTeam) with to of the colleagues who take care themselves of the realization of motion graphic and animation for television commercial and shortfilm for local TV important and via cable.
Recent has completed the collaboration with Dario Picciau for the cinematographic plan "Dear Anne the gift of hope " on sale in the cinemas in 2007in the quality of texture artist and the first book of ARTEMIS FOWL from the Eoin Colfer's best seller by Hyperion books for childrens, on Rigano's pencils.
